NM Senior Sports Foundation in Cooperation with the Encore Fellowship Program of United Way of Central NM

Pay applicable employer payroll taxes as a condition to receiving an Encore Fellowship Grant.  The NMSSF will hire a program manager and webmaster for the period beginning January 9, 2017 and ending June 30, 2017. This individual will create a senior sports website highlighting the activities available to seniors in the Metropolitan Albuquerque area.

Promote the talent show competition of the Albuquerque Senior Olympics with recognition ot the memory of Miera Adams

Promote senior women's softball in the Albuquerque area and encourage an increase in the number of teams participating in league play

Pajarito Environmental Education Center

To provide funds for a SPOT GPS Locator/Beacon and GPS services for one-year.  Purchase trekking poles and cover advertising costs for program

Silver Gloves Senior Women’s Softball Program

To purchase 3 senior bats for the purpose of providing equal opportunities to their members while playing recreational and competitive softball.

shuffleboard to new venues within the City of 

Albuquerque.

To build a trophy case to display sports achievements by NM senior athletes.  Construction, maintenance, and ownership vested with the Foundation; location provided by the City of Albuquerque at Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center.
